The latest taxpayer incentive gift winners were announced on Kartik 1, Sunday 18 October 2026. The Rs 10 lakh bumper for purchases made from Asoj 16 to 31 went to coupon 0816 3251 5849, which news reports say belongs to Santa Maya Tamang of Nuwakot. Sixteen more coupons won the daily prize of Rs 1,33,334 each.
This page lists every Asoj 2083 winning coupon from both fortnightly draws. It also explains something most coverage missed: IRD’s printed notices for two earlier draws left out the names of five winning coupons that the portal still shows, so the published lists and the portal do not match.

The bumper winner
According to the news agency report carried by Nepal Japan, Santa Maya Tamang bought goods worth Rs 3,000 at SS Fancy House in Nuwakot for Dashain and took a bill. That bill’s coupon was drawn for the bumper. The artists phoned her live from the event, and she first thought someone was teasing her.

How many people took part
IRD’s Director General said 2,75,884 bills were entered by hand for this fortnight. With 3,74,78,380 transactions registered automatically through QR payments, 3,77,55,264 transactions went into the draw, according to the same report.

Our comparison of prize.ird.gov.np with IRD’s notices for these draws. A missing name does not by itself mean the coupon was disqualified.
For the Shrawan 1 to 15 draw, the portal shows 15 daily winners, but IRD’s notice names only 13. The notice says two coupons were left out because they needed further investigation before a decision.
For the Asoj 1 to 15 draw, the portal again shows 15 coupons. IRD’s notice lists 12 names, numbered 1 to 15 with numbers 4, 9 and 13 missing. The notice does not give a reason.
Both notices add that prizes are paid only after the checks in section 9 of the Taxpayer Incentive Gift Programme Procedure, 2083 are complete. In plain words: a coupon on the portal is a winning coupon, but the prize depends on the bill passing verification. We do not know the outcome for these five coupons, and we have not guessed it.

IRD’s announcement says each daily winner’s account receives Rs 1 lakh after tax. The bumper figure applies the same 25% rate and is our arithmetic.
How to check your coupon and claim
- Open prize.ird.gov.np and choose नेपाली or English.
- Open the results page and pick the draw for the dates of your purchase.
- Match your 12-digit coupon. Bills paid by QR are entered automatically, so check even if you never entered a bill by hand. Your coupons appear under the mobile number you registered with.
- Claim before the deadline. IRD asked Asoj 16 to 31 winners to reach the nearest Inland Revenue Office with the original bill by Kartik 15. The portal shows the claim window closing on 2 November 2026, and it also takes claim details with a photo of the bill.
- Keep the original bill. Without it the prize cannot be verified.

When is the next draw?
So far the department has published results about a day after each fortnight ends: around the 1st of the next Nepali month and around the 16th. On that pattern, the Kartik 1 to 15 results would come out around Kartik 16 (2 November). That is our reading of the past dates, not an announced schedule.
