The second edition of the Nepal Fintech Expo 2026 will run for three days from 9 to 11 October 2026 (Asoj 23–25, 2083) at Heritage Garden, Sanepa, Lalitpur. Organised by Fintech Alliance Nepal, it will carry more than 65 exhibition stalls, two dedicated Experience Zones, and an expected turnout above 6,000 visitors.
The first edition, held on 2–3 January 2026, was Nepal’s first fintech-focused expo. This one is longer, larger and more clearly built around dealmaking than demonstration — and if you work anywhere near payments, banking technology or a startup that touches money, it is the single most efficient day out you will get this year.

What Is New in the Second Edition
The changes are not cosmetic. Each one points at the same intention — giving people enough time to actually do business rather than just walk the floor.
Three days instead of two
The organisers extended the run specifically to leave room for exhibition viewing, business discussion, networking and knowledge exchange, rather than compressing all four into a weekend.
Two Experience Zones
Dedicated areas alongside the 65+ stalls, separate from standard exhibition space.
A Premium Lounge — introduced for the first time
Premium pass holders and invited guests get a dedicated hospitality and business-networking space. This is the clearest signal that the expo is positioning itself as a dealmaking venue.
A networking dinner on the opening evening
Held on day one, intended to build relationships and business collaboration between stakeholders while everyone is still in the same place.

Students, read this line twice. Rs 50 gets you into a room containing banks, payment service providers, regulators, investors and startups — all of whom are there specifically to talk to people. For anyone studying IT, finance, management or data, that is the cheapest professional networking available in Nepal this year. Bring a CV.

Sponsorship slots are open across several tiers, from title sponsor down to networking sponsor.
The 50% member discount is worth doing the arithmetic on. If your company is going to exhibit anyway, FAN membership pays for a meaningful share of the booth cost in a single event — which is presumably the point of structuring it that way.
Rs 75,000 for three days in front of a projected 6,000 visitors who are all there specifically for financial technology is not expensive exposure by any standard. The question is whether you have something to show.
Who Is Fintech Alliance Nepal?
Fintech Alliance Nepal (FAN) is an organisation working on the development and promotion of the financial technology sector. It currently has 53 corporate members.
The expo is not its only activity. FAN runs recurring programmes through the year, including Fintech Friday, Fintech Social and a CTO Retreat — which matters if you are weighing up membership, because it means the value is not concentrated in one event a year.
The organisation has framed the expo as more than an exhibition: a shared platform intended to push Nepal’s financial technology, innovation and digital transformation forward. The first edition was presented by IME Group and powered by Nepal Clearing House.
Who Should Actually Attend
The organisers expect participation from banks and financial institutions, fintech companies, payment service providers, regulators, government bodies, investors, technology companies, startups, development partners, students and the general public with an interest in technology.

- Students and job seekers in IT, finance or management. Rs 50 entry, and the hiring managers are standing at the stalls.

Practical Notes Before You Go
- Book the ticket digitally in advance. Khalti is the official partner; do not plan on paying at a gate.
- Day one is the busiest. The opening ceremony, and the networking dinner that evening, both fall on 9 October. Go on day one for the announcements, days two or three for unhurried conversations.
- Confirm the schedule closer to the date. Product launch timings have not been published in detail yet.
- If you are exhibiting, check FAN membership first. The 50% discount changes the maths.
