Quick answer: The iPhone price in Nepal currently runs from Rs 1,27,499 for the iPhone 15 to Rs 5,34,900 for the top iPhone 18 Pro Max (2TB). The new iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs 2,59,900 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at Rs 2,79,900 (both 256GB). iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max price in Nepal

The two new flagships are the headline. At every storage tier the Pro Max costs Rs 20,000–21,000 more than the Pro, so the choice between them is really about screen size and battery, not price jumps.

StorageiPhone 18 ProiPhone 18 Pro Max
256GBRs 2,59,900Rs 2,79,900
512GBRs 3,01,900Rs 3,22,900
1TBRs 3,86,900Rs 4,07,900
2TBRs 5,13,900Rs 5,34,900

Storage is where the money goes. On the iPhone 18 Pro, moving from 256GB to 512GB costs Rs 42,000; from 512GB to 1TB costs another Rs 85,000; and the 2TB model is Rs 1,27,000 above the 1TB. Unless you shoot a lot of high-resolution video, 256GB or 512GB is where most buyers should stop.

iPhone 17 series price in Nepal: now cheaper

With the 18 Pro models on sale, last year’s Pro phones have been repriced:

  • iPhone 17 Pro Max (256GB): Rs 2,42,499, down from Rs 2,57,999 — a cut of Rs 15,500.
  • iPhone 17 Pro (256GB): Rs 2,21,299, down from Rs 2,36,899 — a cut of Rs 15,600.
  • iPhone 17 (256GB): Rs 1,73,499.
  • iPhone Air (256GB): Rs 1,90,699.
  • iPhone 17e (256GB): Rs 1,32,499.

That leaves a gap of roughly Rs 37,400 between the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the new 18 Pro Max, and about Rs 38,600 between the 17 Pro and the 18 Pro, at 256GB. If you do not need the newest camera and chip, that gap is the argument for buying last year’s Pro.

Cheapest iPhone in Nepal right now

Three models sit under Rs 1.5 lakh at the authorised reseller:

ModelStoragePriceWorth knowing
iPhone 15Base modelRs 1,27,499Lowest price on the list
iPhone 17e256GBRs 1,32,499Only Rs 5,000 more, newer and with 256GB
iPhone 16128GBRs 1,46,599Half the storage of the 17e at a higher price

On paper the iPhone 17e is the sensible entry point: a newer phone with 256GB for Rs 5,000 more than the iPhone 15. And the regular iPhone 17 at Rs 1,73,499 is Rs 26,900 above the iPhone 16 while doubling its storage.

Which iPhone should you buy? A budget guide

  • Under Rs 1.5 lakh: iPhone 17e (256GB). The iPhone 15 only makes sense if every rupee counts.
  • Rs 1.5–2 lakh: iPhone 17 for most people; iPhone Air if thinness and weight matter more to you than battery and cameras.
  • Rs 2–2.5 lakh: iPhone 17 Pro or 17 Pro Max at their reduced prices — the value picks of this list.
  • Rs 2.5 lakh and above: iPhone 18 Pro or 18 Pro Max, if you want the newest model and will keep it for years.

One rule holds at every budget: buy the storage you need on day one. You cannot add it later, and Apple’s storage steps are the most expensive part of the price list.

Authorised reseller or grey market? What you are really choosing

iPhones in Nepal are sold two ways: through Apple Authorised Resellers at the official price, and through “grey” imports brought in privately and sold for less. The lower grey-market price has real costs attached:

  • Warranty. Authorised units come with official warranty support in Nepal. A grey unit’s warranty depends on the country it was made for and may not be honoured here.
  • IMEI registration. Nepal Telecommunications Authority runs the Mobile Device Management System (MDMS), which tracks handset IMEI numbers. Phones imported through official channels are registered by the importer; for a phone brought from abroad, check the current NTA requirement before you rely on it with a Nepali SIM.
  • Model variant. Units made for other markets can differ — SIM tray versus eSIM-only, or supported network bands. Ask which region the unit is from.
  • A proper bill. A VAT bill matters for warranty, resale and insurance — and under Nepal’s bill lottery it is also an entry in the fortnightly draw.

Before you pay: a buyer’s checklist

  1. Confirm the price and stock on the day — the 18 Pro models were store-only when we checked.
  2. Check the IMEI on the box against the phone (Settings → General → About) before leaving the shop.
  3. Ask for the warranty terms in writing and where repairs are handled in Nepal.
  4. Take a VAT bill with the IMEI or serial number written on it.
  5. Paying by EMI? Ask for the total you will pay, not just the monthly figure. Our guide to credit card fees and rules in Nepal explains what to look for.
  6. Buying second-hand? Check battery health, Activation Lock status and that the seller’s Apple ID is signed out.
