The Fund can add or remove hospitals, so confirm at the hospital’s SSF counter before treatment. Benefit limits are from our July 2026 SSF medical guide.
This is the full SSF hospital list for Kathmandu Valley. The Social Security Fund’s official page lists 28 affiliated hospitals in the Valley: 20 in Kathmandu district, 4 in Lalitpur and 4 in Bhaktapur. Across Nepal, the same page lists 123.
If you or your family contribute to SSF, these are the hospitals where you can use your medical benefit at the counter and pay only your share of the bill, instead of paying everything and claiming later.

How to use SSF at these hospitals
- Check your profile first. Log in on ssf.gov.np or the SSF app and confirm your KYC, contributions and family details are correct.
- Go to the SSF counter at the hospital and show your SSF ID and identification.
- Get treated. The hospital coordinates approval with the Fund for covered services.
- Pay your share. Under the 80/20 rule in our guide, the Fund pays 80% of the eligible cost and you pay 20%. On an eligible bill of Rs 10,000, you pay Rs 2,000.
Family cover depends on your profile. A spouse or child who is not entered correctly in your SSF details can be refused at the counter, so fix this before someone falls ill.
